The Super E are butterfly type carbs with fully adjustable idle mixture screws ann changeable intermediate and main jets. The idle mixture screw is positioned and angled for easy accessibility. Keihin carburetor problem??

I have a 1971 Harley Davidson Ironhead has a Keihin CV carbs. It works well, but a few months reached when only one would go well with the control fully implemented enrichment. It idles fine but has no power over the first Eighth acceleration back (not by the way). The problem seems to be in the pilot system. I disassembled and cleaned twice. Everything seems clear and all parties back to the right place, but still the problem. Again, with the order of enrichment completely runs well (well the rich). Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this problem?

CV Keihin not come on the stock Ironhead .. Sometimes people make Kehin CV and place in a free support - and is very common for the manufacture of O-rings flight because of the extra weight of the CV carbs. Spray WD-40 around the contribution of the bike at idle and see if the engine speed changes. If you do, there is a leak in the use and examination should be that before making adjustments to carbohydrates. If you are taking a leak consumption should be removed and replace the O-rings (or bands rubber.) You can loosen the screws on the bottom line of the cylinder head suction. After admission and head covered as close as possible, tighten the nuts of the cylinder. Then roll the consumption of rings or lips in the intake manifold. Then use set up and deployment or segments in the seats. Then wrap around the O-rings with four rounds of tape (self-vulcanizing silicone tape works best) and put the clamps. It is preferable to use pliers stainless steel aircraft type. If you have the old videos, and get em mixed clips of aircraft. If carbohydrates are not a medium that should make one. Generally varies between a bolt and high air clean the backplate. If you still have problems after checking the contribution of a leak, I think the first guy to put Ironhead day CV was a guy called "Stroker" It has helped others to do the conversion in the last ten years and knows inside and outside HP.
