change the handlebar 07 sportster?
I recently purchased HD Sportster XLC July 1, has the handlebar and original bands (5 "I think), fork handles about 8 ", the bike was found when I bought the handlebars are bent and touching the Travel .... I think they settled on buying a 10 "resulting increase in the T-bar, and I was wondering if anyone out there who can tell me more about the process, I am curious to know if I'll have to pay more so long throttle cable brake cable also wonder if I will have to relocate the turn signals and speedometer because I have seen pictures where people have done this, but I really do not want too ...... I also wonder if anyone has done this kind of project like that I can say an approximate price, somewhere in the stadium so I know what to save ... ps I intend take a bicycle mechanic and I'm lost regarding the wiring, any help or suggestions are welcome .. I do this every days, and if you want to do things, and look good ... will be very slow and is not cheap. Take a final decision on bars ... that must be mounted first to take action. You need a brake line first feature (right angle banjo should be taken into account) and the clutch cable (The correct path should be used to ensure that no sharp turns), and throttle cable (at right angles and settings Length must be taken into account) You also want the internal wiring (to maintain the cables of a Zip file to be attached to the bars --- connections is spliced lopk HLT dollars ).... external, so be sure to get established bars internal wiring.
