The knuckle & panhead motors of today benefit from advances in technology. Modern replica knuckle cylinder heads now have the later 1954-1965 O-ring intake manifold, that eliminates the troublesome (leaking) large-hex "plumber nuts" of 1936-1953. Over the last 35 years the aftermarket Harley parts for the 1936-64 OHV Big Twin motors have leveled-off into less choice, but higher quality. The 1954-57 rigid frames that will be returning to market, all have fixtures welded or brazed for the immediate fastening of parts to frame.

GrandPa's Motorcycle Home Movies 1937-40 2hr DVD - Vintage Antique Harley Davidson Indian GrandPa's Motorcycle Home Movies 1937-40 2hr DVD - Vintage Antique Harley Davidson Indian
Sale Price: $19.99

GrandPa's Motorcycle Movies on DVD GrandPa had these home movies professionally transfered to VHS back in the 80's. I've transfered these movies to DVD disc. Late 30's - early 40's home movies of the guys & gals of the Greensboro, NC M/C Club in action in the good old days! Most are in color [rare in the 30's]. Road Runs, field games, stunt shows & LOTS of racing, including flat track, T.T. and the 1939 Daytona Beach Race in color! All set to a sound track of big band & popular tune instrumentals. Also included as a bonus is some 1950's racing action w/ grandpa's commentary identifying the riders, including the 1956 Daytona Beach Race [in color].... Harley VL's, Knucks, big & little Flatheads and Indians too! 50's has WR's, KR's, Scouts & Triumphs. TWO FULL HOURS of unbelievable motorcycle action! MUST SEE!.. I get misty eyed everytime I watch it, sad to have missed these great times, when life was simpler and these bikes were NEW! These folks seem to be having so much fun! Many would soon be fighting in and all would be affected by World War Two. At least we have these images to remember what it was like in the "Good Old Days"!. And we now own these bikes!... Great quality copy for sale.... Great for watching on a cold night thinking of riding days ahead.... I have had nothing but rave reviews on these dvd's... Check the Feedback... Everyone LOVES these old movies!! These images need to be shared w/ people who love this stuff.... Happy Motoring, KnuckleBill... what is the difference between a Jockey shift and a Suicide shift?

have heard of them and I have seen them.
Are they same thing or is there a diff?
i picked up that one when he said never heard of jockey shift
So with a rocker style clutch you would press down to engage the clutch and then press down a second time to disengage it dose it pop back or dose it slow give you your friction point as you bring you foot off? My wording my be off but I think you know what I mean.
hand clutch right on the jockey shifter that what i was think the diff was snoop

Suicide is the clutch -You have to hold it down as opposed to a rocker that will go over center and keep itsself engaged

A jockey shift is usualy thought of as the short levers that are right on the transmission -instead of a frame or tank mounted shifter
